Pacific Bay Drilling at Haskins-Reed Property Encounters Multiple Sulphide Intercepts


Vancouver, British Columbia, October 8, 2014.  David H. Brett, President and CEO, Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. (TSX Venture: PBM, the “Company”) reports that the Company has completed a 6-hole, 427-metre diamond drilling program within the Brett high-grade zinc zone at its 100% owned Haskins-Reed property on Highway 37 near Cassiar in northern British Columbia.

Five of the six holes encountered significant mineralization over varying drilling lengths up to 30 metres.  Ninety-four drill core samples have been logged, split and shipped for analysis. Results for this drilling program will be announced upon receipt of the analyses.

The technical disclosures in this news release were reviewed and approved by Doug Blanchflower, P.Geo., a Qualified Person, as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
