Pacific Bay's Sanders Steps Down

Vancouver, British Columbia, May 13, 2008 - Mr. David H. Brett, President and CEO, Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. (TSX Venture: CBP, the "Company") reports that Mr. George Sanders has stepped down as President and Director of the Company for personal reasons. Mr. David Brett, the Company's CEO and a director, has been appointed President.
