Pacific Bay Adds Two Directors
Vancouver, British Columbia, December 10, 2007, David H. Brett, CEO, Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. (TSXV-CBP, the "Company"), reports that the Company has added Mr. James G. Evaskevich and Mr. Joel Tarrida to its board of directors and appointed Ravinder Mlait as VP of Business Development.
Mr. Evaskevich has 28 year experience in the resources sector and is currently President and CEO of Yangarra Resources Inc., a TSX Venture listed oil and gas company, and is also President and CEO of Cascadia International Resources Inc., a TSX Venture listed mining exploration company. The Company welcomes Mr. Evaskevich to its board of directors. Management believes his strong corporate finance skills and his significant public resource company experience will be of great benefit to the Company.
Mr. Joel Tarrida is a real estate developer and builder in Washington State, and formerly worked in the banking sector with CIBC and the Canadian Western Bank. Management welcomes Mr. Tarrida to the board and believes his extensive financial background and business skills will be of great help to the Company.
Mr. Mlait is has been in an investor relations role with the Company for three years, holds a BA (Economics) from Simon Fraser University and has worked with a number public companies. Mr. Mlait is currently pursuing his MBA at Royal Roads University in British Columbia.
