Pacific Bay Announces Board, Management Changes
Vancouver, British Columbia, December 3, 2007, Guilford H. Brett, Chairman, Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. (TSXV-CBP, the "Company"), reports that mining engineer Mr. Ernest D. Black, P.Eng, citing personal reasons, has stepped down from the Board of Directors of the Company. The Company thanks Ernie for his years of ardent and dedicated service and wishes him all the best of health and success in the future. The Board of Directors is now comprised of Guilford Brett, Chairman, David Brett and George F. Sanders. The Company is actively seeking to recruit new board members.
In order to provide additional management capacity and to help with the Company's growth, David H. Brett, MBA, a Director who has been involved in the day to day, executive and financial management of the Company for several years, has been appointed CEO. George F. Sanders, M.Sc., P.Geo, formerly CEO and President, will remain President and continue in his role spearheading the Company's exploration projects. David Brett was CEO and President of the Company from 1995 to 1999, and Managing Director from 1985 to1992. The Company is also actively seeking to recruit additional geological staff to assist with the Company's growth.
