Uranium Expert, Dr. Bernhard Free, Joins Pacific Bay Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. — TSX Venture — CBP
Vancouver, British Columbia, June 6 2006 -- Mr. George Sanders, President, Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. (TSX Venture: CBP, the "Company") is pleased to announce that uranium expert Dr. Bernhard Free has joined Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals as Advisor to the Board of Directors. Dr. Free has been an independent consulting geologist since 1993 and has worked in uranium, precious metals, oil and gas exploration, mine development and production for over 40 years. From 1976 to 1984 he was General Manager for Exploration and Project Development for Uranerz Exploration and Mining in Canada and General Manager of the ISL (In-Situ Leach) uranium development program for Uranerz USA. Dr. Free was a Senior Geologist for Cominco and worked on exploration and development projects for uranium, base metals, and diamonds in Canada, Australia, Guyana and South Africa for 10 years prior to joining Uranerz, and he has been an officer and director of a number of public companies since 1984.
