Quarterly Financial Information
Vancouver, BC, December 1, 2003. Guilford Brett, President, Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. (The Company) wishes to announce that it has arranged for personnel to initiate a limited work program on the companies Regalo property recently optioned from IMA Exploration, in the Chubut Province in Southern Argentina. This program will focus on locating the source of the highly anomalous stream sediment located on the property. These samples range between 134PPB Au and 831PPB Au. The geology in the area is similar to that found on IMA's Navidad property to the north. Work should commence in early January.
The Company also announces that it has filed its quarterly financial report on Form 51-901F for the nine months ended September 30, 2003 on the SEDAR system (www.sedar.com).

Further, the company announces that Doug Eacrett has resigned from the Board of Directors of Consolidated Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. His services on the Board have been much appreciated by the Company.
